Where there's fire, there' smoke!

As we enter a fire season that some fire officials predict could be the worst in history, we must prepare our homes to survive a potential fire and ourselves and our loved ones to evacuate quickly if necessary.

We must also be aware that fires hundreds of miles away can endanger our health via the smoke that is already filling the air, and may well continue to do so for weeks or even months to come.

Young children, the elderly, and those with lung or heart ailments are especially vulnerable in smoky conditions and should follow these guidelines.
